Image Rotator

Turn 90 degrees or any custom angle.

Loading tool

This tool runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.

Fix a sideways phone shot or mirror a scan. Quarter turns keep every pixel. Free angles resample onto a larger canvas.

How to use this tool

  1. Choose a file on this device. Pick an image from your computer or phone. The file stays in this browser tab.
  2. Set size or quality. Use the sliders and format controls. A preview is shown when the tool can make one.
  3. Download the new file. Save the result. The original on disk is not overwritten.

Fills after a free rotate

Corners that appear after a non-right-angle turn can be transparent (PNG/WebP) or filled with a solid color you pick.

Privacy

Files never leave the device. Orientation is rewritten locally; no cloud vision API is called.

Frequently asked

Why is a phone photo already sideways?

Some cameras store pixels unrotated and mark EXIF orientation. This tool bakes the turn into pixels.

Can I flip horizontally for a selfie?

Yes. Mirror is a separate control from rotate.

Does 90 degrees lose quality?

A right-angle turn on JPEG still re-encodes. Use a high quality setting.

Can I rotate a PDF page?

No. This page accepts raster images only.

Is the original overwritten?

No. Download creates a new file.
